Assalamualaikum & hye!
Have you realized that I'm actually writing something in the middle of the night? *well, whatever, tomorrow is a day off*
Oh, and actually I'm a night owl~~~
*I'm kinda addicted to sport animes right now and I decided to watch Days and Kuroko no Basket*
Ok, let's get to the point right now. Do you know that I love reading? I have read many kind of reading materials including novels, light novels and mangas. But, I'm always reading mangas though because I can always read many mangas online *I have to pay for novels. So, no.*
I have stumbled upon many genres and some was weird and some was really really masterpieces!
I really enjoyed reading. You see, I feel that when reading, a new world will open for me. When I turned over the pages and read them, more and more, I felt that somehow I was drawn into the book. I got to learn what I can't learn so easily in my country, I got some lessons that really touched my heart and became excited to read what will happen next.
Reading is really something, right?
Or, maybe because I'm not a person who's really good with words, so these things really attracted me?
Today, I have just read a new book. It's about a man who can see the souls of the dead and help others to solve some cases. But, there's more, he was born with a red eye and when he was little, his mother tried to kill him. Wait, the worst part is, before that, his mother was confined by a man in a small hunt and after several months she managed to escape and at the hospital, she found out that she's pregnant. Well, I guess you can already guess what have happened right? This book is kinda dark but I love these kind of things.
You know, in some chapters, a killer appeared and he murdered two middle school girls. It's all started when the first victim made a false report about him being a pervert and told him to go die. In the end, that event destroyed his dream as a law student. Now, you must be thinking that the man is really the worst right because he just killed a girl because of that. The truth is, that man, when he was little, he witnessed his own mother's suicide in front of his eyes * like seriously, why the heck you wanted to kill yourself in front of your son?*. Then he was taken to live with his father and his family *his biological mother was his father's mistress*. First day living in a new house, he started to give cold shoulders towards his sister and made her mad and said something like he should have die with his mother.
For a child that witnessed his mother's suicide, and being treated badly by his family and always always always trying so hard to impress his new family. Don't you think death is the scariest thing for him?
" I have to live" " I don't want to become like my mom." "I wanted to be value as a person."
He might be thinking about these things over and over.
And suddenly, he suffered from necrophobia *intense fear of death and dead bodies*.
You might think that it's not enough to commit a murder. Let me tell you something from the book, this phobia may be nothing towards other people but severe for them. For example, if they see a corpse, they will think that's that their own dead body. His mother's suicide must have damaged him psychologically. After he was adopted, he tried his hardest to receive recognition from his family because he doesn't want to be abandoned like his mom because to him abandonment is like death itself. Anything related about death was a taboo for him. So, that's why the first victim's words triggered his fear and he decided to kill her.
It's sad when you read his story. For someone who really wants to be recognize by his family, he struggle so hard to achieve his dream but one day, that dream just shattered.
It's not entirely his fault. If he's healthy, he might not do something like that.
I learnt something from his story. No matter what kind of illnesses someone has, weather it's OCD, phobias or anything, that person must have suffered greatly even though we don't really understand them.
I felt that I need to save those kind of people. It's not something fictional, necrophobia really exists and so other illnesses.
I might not realized how someone can suffer greatly from such things if I didn't read this book. And I decided that I wanted to become someone who helps others and understands them while everyone couldn't.
Don't you think, it's really such a nice job to live for?
Ah, I've got to go. See you next time! Bye!
